A mixture of things

I almost smashed you today. I almost took you and through you out the open door of the bus. Almost. So close. I should have done it. You are honestly pissing me off so much! I don't know what to do with you. You show me that I have service, yet you don't send my messages? You give me this false hope that frankly, I am getting sick and tired of! You die on me when I use the date for an hour. You freeze at the most randomest times. You make me send messages 3 or 4 times (WHEN I HAVE SIGNAL) before you actually decide to work (maybe I swear at you a little, or tell you I'm going to abandon you... maybe).
I really am gonna abandon you and never let you see the light of day if you do not get your act together. This is the last warning.
Get a handle on yourself.

Texting

I will be looking at my phone ALL DAY, it will be by my side ALL DAY, and I will get slim to no texts/calls. The ONE MOMENT I decide, "Oh, since no one is texting me/all conversations are dead, I might as well just leave it and not look at it" is when EVERYONE remembers me! And then I get yelled at for not replying soon enough or having my phone on silent or not having my phone on me. Well where were you when I WAS checking my phone? Yeah exactly, NO WHERE!

YouTube

I need more people in my circle of friends to watch YouTube videos like I do. I need to be able to go "gaga" over them and for the person to understand why I do. Yes, they are pretty good looking people, but that's not the only reason I love them. If you watch their videos, you usually get to know their personality (or at least their on camera personality) and you just want to love them and be their friends. They are funny, goofy, informative, exciting, adventurous, and yet, they are normal.
I do "gaa gaa" over them and talk about them to people, but it's just not the same!
But I realize people do not have much time to do these sorts of things, as they have work to do. The reason I do have time is because I make the time. It's basically YouTube > TV > Leisure reading > Work. That's my priority list right there. That's the list of a procrastinator.

Amazing Waiters/Waitresses at restaurants

When you go to a restaurant, you are already expecting to have a good time. Good food, good company, good drinks, good atmosphere... All that leads to a good time. But when you add a good waiter/waitress to that mix, you're night goes up 100 notches!
There's something about fun, outgoing, funny waiters/waitress that makes the night even better. The fact that they joke around with you, the fact that they have full out conversations with you, the fact that they do not get offended by a joke you throw their way, the very fact that they throw in a little treat (even though they could get in trouble) for you and it turns out to be the best thing you've ever had on earth (literally). They are just fun to be around. They make the night better, much more entertaining, and much more memorable. And who doesn't like good memories?

It's the taste of heaven. It literally is. You don't even have to go to the restaurant for the food, just go for this dessert! It's absolutely fabulous!

Rant #1

Weather.

I cannot complain much about this, since it is clearly out of human beings' hands. But I am going to anyways.
I grasp the fact that we live in a country where temperatures can reach below -25*. I understand this pretty well. But what I do not understand is the fluctuation in the temperatures this winter! One day it's nice and sunny, and the next its a biting blizzard! It's unbearable and ridiculous!  No matter how many layers I where, some part of my body freezes. My fingers, toes, legs, head, nose, eyes, etc! And freezing body parts are painful! But like I said, we can't control this (yet anyways), so I have to refrain  from complaining about it anymore.

Why didn't I choose to live in a mildly cool all-year-round kinda place!?
I say mildly cool because I despise the extremely hot summers! My idle weather temperature is between 15* and 25*... anything hotter and I will become a hermit!

Bus Drivers/Drivers

Let me start of by saying not ALL bus drivers do this, but I've had it happen to me, and I have witnessed it happen to others.
Bus drivers who DO NOT stop for the person who is running for the bus OR the person waving at the bus  few meters in front of the bus are real PRICKS! Like it would not kill you to stop for the person! It angers me so much because I know they see them in their peripherals, but they just want to make that person's life more difficult!
Okay, lets move on to a more serious PRICK of the year! Bus drivers who drive off during a winter storm! Now these types of bus drivers take the cake for "World's Biggest Prick" ! It's a blizzard outside, it's bone-numbing cold, and you're not gonna stop? That's not very nice of you now is it? And when you physically shake your head to show that you've seen the person, but you're not gonna stop anyways... You're even worse than I thought!

I hope these (sort of) rants entertained you for a few minutes. I can see a lot more of these in the near future!

Non-American Invasion

I am loving this British invasion that has been occurring for a while now!

I have a slight obsession with accents, mainly British, Irish, Scottish, and Australian. I find it so fascinating that, though they speak the same language, they pronounce things differently; adding syllables on one word and removing them in another. It just amuses me so much!
A few of the musicians that I am currently obsessed with (and have been for a while) are:

- Coldplay (though they've been around for a bit)

These are just to name a few of the "invasion-ers", and there is a whole other world for me to still discover! I am getting there slowly but surely!
I should add that I have also been following the lives of a few youtubers that happen to be British & one of them is South African! Yeah, I watch their weekly videos religiously! I guess you can call me a fangirl? But I'm not crazy.

Back in business

Hello there!

So I have decided to start a blog (yet again) to write about my newest obsessions, my favourite songs, books, movies, TV shows, and possibly my ordinary, average life that may have an exciting event occur in it once in a while :) I may possibly go on a bit of a rant now and then, when it is really needed or necessary. 

Do not expect this genius, creative blog with amazing things to say about life and the world. I can't do that. I can't even give advice to a friend. But I will try to entertain you with whatever I find amusing, which I hope will take you away for a few minutes from the crazy life you've got going on :)
