Silence is my forte

There is a part of my life that will always be behind a wall. A brick wall followed by a cement one followed by glass.

“She often could not articulate her thoughts; they seemed like objects glimpsed peripherally, skittish and ungraspable, splinters and fragments that would not add up to much if bundled together; they refused to stand still for examination. For this reason, she was largely silent.”

Crosses & Circles (Part Two)

I completely forgot to add these beautiful ladies to my Girl Crushes ! And I was shocked!

Rachel Bilson
She is just so simple. So girl-next-door. Her style is amazing; she has this European style going on. I love her laugh, her smile, her hair (especially her hair). And her characters on The OC and Hart of Dixie make me love her more. Oh, and I want to learn how she does her eye make up!
Kaley Cuoco
Let me start off by saying she is hilarious on screen and off! She seems like she doesn't care about what other people think. She has this personality that makes you want her to be your friend. She also seems like a person you can walk up to and have a conversation with :) She also loves animals.
Jennifer Garner
She is beautiful. She has dimples. She has gorgeous hair. She is a down-to-earth person. She is married to Ben Affleck. She has an adorable smile.

Emma Stone
Her voice. Her acting. Her smile. Her humour. Her personality. And I loved her in Easy A!

All these Girl Crushes are someone I'd definitely want as a bestfriend! Or a friend! I realize that these descriptions got shorter and they are repetitive, but I love them mainly all for the same reason, their down-to-earth personality.

Rant #2

Note To Self

Avoid wearing hoodies that have big letters in the middle of it in order to avoid the stares that come your way. Oh and make sure if you do decide to wear those sweaters, that the word on it isn't "Corona".
I experienced a lot of stares today and probably some judgements as well. Unfortunately, I will be treking around with this particular sweater because it is the most comfortable one I have. And it's a guy's sweater... and we all know guy sweaters are just way too comfy and perfect!

Pictures

I do not mind people who take "selfies" all the time. I do not mind if people take pictures of random shit all the time. But what I do care about when it comes to pictures and posting them on social medias (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) are alcohol and half-nude pictures.

I understand if you have a tattoo and you're showing it off, by all means so some skin. But when girls are posting two-piece bathing suit (or as I like to call it the bra-underwear suit) and stating they "want summer back" is just plain disgusting. Like it shows how much you are willing to put out there of yourself. I completely understand if you're on a beach or in a hot country or anywhere near a pool of some sort. But when you are in your BEDROOM, it is just unnecessary and demeaning. As much as you love your body and want to share it with the world, please try and retain some of your dignity and leave it for either the summer or just for those who WANT to see it.

Alcohol pictures are something I cannot find exceptions for. I mean, if you are at a table and your drinks are photo bombing your picture, that's fine. Or if you think your drink is a pretty colour, or has a pretty display, or in a cool glass, by all means take pictures. But when you post pictures of countless number of bottles and post a status along the lines of "Time to get f***ed up b***hes", please leave. Or what about those people who take pictures of them holding a bottle? Aren't they just cool? NO! NO you are not cool. You are stupid. And arrogant. Who cares if you're getting drunk tonight? NO ONE! Who cares what alcohol your consuming? That's right, NO ONE! It does not make you cool, it just makes you a dummy who is a big show off.

"Tell me if I'm wrong. Tell me if I'm right. Tell me if you need a loving hand to help you fall asleep tonight"

I can't change. Even if I tried, even if I wanted to.

All I need to do is accept the facts and carry on.

GIRL CRUSHES

My Definition:
Girls that you find attractive and you think is the ideal woman a man would look for OR if you were a man, you would want to look for this kinda girl. There is no sexual nonsense happening here, I am just admiring these people!

Urban Dictionary: (mind you that I read this after I wrote my own definition)
An overwhelming sense of awe felt by a girl for another girl elicited by varying causes ranging from deep respect to unadulterated lust. may result in the any or all of the following: general euphoria, prolonged sense of inspiration, desire for intellectual-intercourse with crush, simple sexual arousal, etc
**I don't know about the italicized area....

Feelings of admiration and adoration which a girl has for another girl, without wanting to shag said girl. a non-sexual attraction, usually based on veneration at some level.
**More specific to what I think it means

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER, I give you my Girl Crushes:

Mila Kunis

She has a great sense of humour, love her voice, beautiful, amazing eyes, and great personality. She just looks and seems like a normal person you'd see on the streets. She's so average, yet so amazing at the same time.

Pink

She is just plain cool! Her hairstyle, she personality, her music, her style itself, everything! She just seems like she does not care about the glitz and glamour of Hollywood... She just does it for her (or so I think)

Zooey Deschanel

I actually liked her from her character on Failure To Launch. She is that weird person with a weird sense of humour. She loves to laugh and is just plain gorgeous. I also love her fashion style... she wears such nice dresses on the show ( I know it's probably not her choice) as well as in real life (her choice mainly).

Selena Gomez

She's one of the few teen actresses that I can stand. She does her own thing, she has such a big heart, she's so sweet, she loves animals, and she too has a good sense of humour. She doesn't dress too provocatively, she just dresses for her age. I love her hair (wish I had it).

Ellen DeGeneres

She is definitely my celebrity idol. She is SO loving, so caring, and SOOOO FUNNY! She cheers people up, she makes fun of people openly, she expresses herself openly, and she has the cutest laugh!
She does so much for so many people, and she does it for the good of the people, rather than the fame. She's also done so much for animals, its unbelievable.
I love the fact that she finds ways to help individual families, as well as help larger charities.
One day, I hope to make 1/1000 of the difference she makes in people's lives.

***I would just like to clarify that I am very much into the male species (preferably ones with a British/Scottish/Irish/Australian/Kiwis accent)***

"Girl, let me love you and I will love you until you learn to love your self"
